To remove construction residue or a hazy film from your ASPEN Residential Rigid Core Flooring, follow these steps:
1. Start by dry mopping the floor using a microfiber dry mop pad to remove any construction dust or exterior soil tracked onto the flooring. If the microfiber dry mop pad becomes dirty, replace it with a clean pad.
2. Spray an approved Hard Surface Cleaner onto the floor in manageable areas. The spray mist will dry quickly. Use a microfiber wet mop pad to mop the floor with the cleaner. If the pad becomes dirty, replace it with a new microfiber wet mop pad. Mop the floor in overlapping sections to remove the residue film. Do not dry buff the floor.
3. Rinse the floor with water only using a wet microfiber mop pad to remove any remaining residue. When the wet mop pad becomes dirty, replace it with a new microfiber wet mop pad. It is important to frequently replace a dirty mop head to prevent spreading trace amounts of joint compound back onto the floor.
4. If necessary, repeat steps 2 and 3. After each cleaning cycle, you will notice the haze decreasing until all the material is removed from the surface.
Note: Ensure you follow appropriate safety measures when wet cleaning and using cleaning agents on the floor.
