Cleaning the filters on the FISHER PAYKEL HC36PCX1 Wall Range Hood is a simple process. Here is a step-by-step guide:
1. Ensure that the range hood is turned off and unplugged before starting the cleaning process.
2. Locate the three stainless steel filters on the underside of the range hood. These filters are dishwasher-safe and can also be cleaned by hand.
3. To remove the filters, push the release tab or handle on each filter and gently pull them out.
4. If you prefer to clean the filters in the dishwasher, place them in the dishwasher's top rack. Use a mild detergent and run a normal wash cycle.
5. If you choose to clean the filters by hand, fill a sink or basin with hot soapy water. Submerge the filters and allow them to soak for a few minutes.
6. Use a soft brush or sponge to gently scrub away any grease or residue from the filters. Pay attention to the mesh surface and ensure it is thoroughly cleaned.
