Cleaning the Fisher Paykel RDV2-364GD-L_N Dual Fuel Range is easy and convenient. The oven has a self-cleaning function, which means it can clean itself using high heat to burn off any food residue or spills. To activate the self-cleaning function, follow these steps:
1. Remove all racks and accessories from the oven.
2. Close the oven door.
3. Press the "Clean" button on the control panel.
4. Select the desired cleaning duration (typically 2-4 hours).
5. The oven will lock the door and begin the cleaning cycle. During this time, the oven will heat up to a high temperature to burn off any food particles.
6. After the cleaning cycle is complete, allow the oven to cool down before opening the door.
7. Once the oven has cooled, wipe away any ash residue with a damp cloth or sponge.
For the cooktop, it has sealed burners and an encapsulated cooking surface with a commercial-style stainless steel finish, making it easy to clean. Simply wipe down the cooktop surface with a damp cloth or sponge after each use. For stubborn stains or spills, you can use a mild detergent or cooktop cleaner specifically designed for stainless steel surfaces.
