To install the SERVICE FIRST Orion Series 6 Inch Adjustable Wall Mount Flagpole, follow these steps:
1. Choose a sturdy location to install your flagpole that can support its weight and stress.
2. Use the Flagpole Mount (C) as a template to mark the location of the four screws using a pencil. Use a level to ensure the mount is perfectly vertical.
3. Depending on the material you are installing on, determine if using anchors is necessary. Your kit includes basic expansion anchors, but you may need different options based on the surface. Consult a professional or visit a local hardware store for advice.
4. Choose the proper hardware for the material and secure the mount to the surface.
5. Connect Sections (A) and (B) of the flagpole and use xxxx (D) to secure them together.
6. Install Flag Clips (F) to the swivels on the pole. Attach the Gold Finial (E) to the top of the pole. The flagpole comes with a sewn and embroidered 3x5 USA Flag (G). Attach this flag to the pole using the Flag Clips (F).
7. Use the Flag Size Adjuster to hold the bottom of the 3x5' Flag in place. Adjust the adjuster position to compensate for any variations in flag dimensions. Avoid setting it too snug, as it may prevent proper swiveling and cause tangling. If the flag occasionally tangles, loosen the Flag Size Adjuster slightly.
8. Insert the completed Orion flagpole into the previously installed mount (C). Adjust the angle of the mount as desired. Tighten the set xxxx on the side of the flagpole mount to secure the flagpole in place.
