To install the QUOIZEL BART8616BN Bartley Vanity Light, please follow the steps below:
1. Safety Precautions:
- Before starting the installation, turn off the electricity at the circuit breaker box or main fuse box to avoid the risk of electric shock.
- Use bulbs specified by the markings and/or labels on the fixture to prevent the risk of fire.
2. Tools Required:
- You will need a screwdriver and wire strippers for the installation.
3. Mounting Hardware:
- Begin by installing the crossbar assembly provided with the package. Follow the instructions in the manual to securely attach it to the electrical box.
4. Wiring:
- Connect the wires from the electrical box to the wires on the fixture. Make sure to match the corresponding colors (black to black, white to white, and green or copper to ground).
5. Fixture Body Installation:
- Attach the fixture body to the crossbar assembly using the screws provided. Ensure that it is securely fastened.
6. Shade Installation:
- Install the shades onto the fixture body according to the instructions in the manual. Follow the specific steps provided to properly attach the shades.
7. Bulb Installation:
- Install two correct bulbs into the fixture, referring to the fixture markings and/or labels for the maximum wattage allowed. The recommended bulb type is not included, so make sure to purchase bulbs that are compatible with the fixture.
8. Care and Maintenance:
- To clean the fixture, wipe it clean using a soft, dry cloth or a static duster. Avoid using harsh chemicals and abrasives as they may damage the finish.
