Thank you for purchasing the Wilo-DrainLift XS-F Minisystem for Faecal Water. I can provide you with some guidance on how to install and operate the product based on the information provided in the instruction manual.
Installation:
1. Ensure that the installation personnel have the appropriate qualifications for the work.
2. Follow the safety instructions listed in the manual to eliminate the risk of injury to persons and damage to the pump/unit.
3. The unit is designed for front wall installation and should be installed directly beside the module for a wall-hung toilet.
4. The installation surface must be horizontal and flat.
5. Connect the pressure pipe, ventilation pipe, and inlet pipes for the toilet, shower/bidet, and washbasin according to the instructions and using the supplied connecting sleeves and clips.
6. Ensure that the unit is protected from frost and that all connections are properly sealed to prevent leaks.
7. Position the safety socket for the electrical connection either within the front wall installation or outside near the maintenance hatch.
8. Have the electrical connection performed by a qualified electrician and ensure that the current type and voltage of the mains connection match those stated on the name plate.
Operation:
1. Plug in the safety plug and ensure that the cistern of the toilet has a capacity of at least 6 litres.
2. Flush the toilet twice on initial use.
3. Avoid putting prohibited substances such as hygiene products, paper towels, solvents, chemicals, grease, etc. into the unit.
4. Regularly check all pipe connections for leaks and tighten the clips if necessary.
5. After using mild detergents, flush the unit several times to remove any traces of the cleaning agent.
6. The unit requires little maintenance but should be inspected at least once a year. Check all connections for leaks and replace the active carbon filter in the ventilation insert as needed.
7. In case of an alarm, disconnect the power plug before any work on the unit. Refer to the manual for specific instructions on troubleshooting and resolving common faults.
Please note that this is a general overview of the installation and operation process. For more detailed instructions and specific information, please refer to the complete instruction manual provided with the product.
