To install the sunlite 81374-SU LED Vanity Fixture, please follow these steps:
1. Disconnect electrical power at the fuse or circuit breaker box before installing or servicing any part of the fixture.
2. Carefully remove the fixture from the carton and ensure that all parts are included.
3. Position the back plate mounting channel against the wall, covering the junction box, and secure it with the provided screws. Mark the placement of the mounting keyhole slots.
4. Drill appropriate-sized holes or install wall anchors to accept the mounting screws.
5. Connect the power source ground wire to the green or bare copper wire from the fixture assembly.
6. Use wire nuts (provided) to connect the white supply wire to the white ballast lead, the black supply wire to the black ballast lead, the "Dim 0-10V" supply wire to the purple ballast lead, and the "Dim ground" supply wire to the grey ballast lead. Do not mix wires and ensure that the connections are secure.
7. Tuck all connections neatly into the junction box.
8. Fasten the channel securely to the wall.
9. Install the fixture housing to the channel by sliding the slots in the housing over the screws in the channel and tightening the screws.
10. Slide the CCT switch to select the desired color temperature from 3000K, 4000K, or 5000K.
11. Install the diffuser by attaching one end using the thumbscrew. Slide the diffuser into the installed end and secure the other end with the thumbscrew.
12. Restore power at the fuse or circuit breaker box.
Please note that if you are unsure about the electrical installation, it is recommended to consult a qualified electrician. The fixture is suitable for use in damp locations and must be installed according to the National Electric Code and local building codes.
