To activate your HIKVISION DS-7604NI-K1 Network/Digital Video Recorder, follow these steps:
1. Plug the power supply into an electrical outlet.
2. Press the power button on the front or rear panel of the device to start it.
3. Once the device has started, you need to set an admin password for device activation.
4. Enter the same password in the "Create New Password" and "Confirm New Password" fields.
5. Optionally, you can set a reserved email, Hik-Connect, security questions, or export GUID for password resetting in the future.
6. Set the password to activate the network camera(s) connected to the device.
7. Click "OK" to save the password and activate the device.
