1. Minimum Requirements: Make sure you have a computer running higher than Windows 7 or an equivalent OS/Linux. You will also need a broadband internet service/router with a DHCP server, an internet browser (Chrome), and a DC 12V/1.5A power supply.
2. Package Contents: Check that you have received all the necessary items, including the Pico Next Indoor Gateway, DC 12V/1.5A power adapter, 1 LoRa antenna, and optional LTE antenna, wireless antenna, and GPS antenna. The provided accessories may vary depending on the purchased SKU.
3. Power up Gateway: Connect the provided power adapter to the DC jack In on the Pico Next Indoor Gateway. The gateway will automatically turn on after powering up.
4. LED Functions: The LED lights on the front panel indicate the status of the gateway. The power LED should be solid when the gateway is powered on. The internet LED should be solid when internet connectivity is available. The wireless LED indicates the status of the wireless connection, and the LoRa LED indicates the status of the LoRa functionality.
5. Obtaining IP Address: By default, the Pico Next Indoor Gateway is in DHCP mode. Simply turn on the gateway, and it will automatically connect to an available DHCP server and obtain an IP address.
6. Gateway Setup: Open a web browser on your computer and type the DHCP IP address of the Pico Next Indoor Gateway into the address bar. Press enter to access the login screen. The username is "admin," and the GUI password can be found on the back label of the gateway.
7. User Interface: After logging in, the Pico Next User Interface will appear. From here, you can adjust account information and configure the gateway according to your requirements.
