To properly heat up the ALFA Forni wood oven 4 PIZZE, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the oven is placed on a stable and heat-resistant surface, away from flammable materials.
2. Open the oven door and remove any ashes or debris from previous use.
3. Place small pieces of dry kindling or newspaper in the center of the oven floor.
4. Light the kindling or newspaper and let it burn until it forms a small bed of hot coals.
5. Add small logs or trimmings to the fire, making sure they are no larger than 1.9 inches in diameter.
6. Close the oven door and adjust the air intake and chimney damper to control the airflow.
7. Allow the fire to burn and heat up the oven for approximately 20 minutes.
8. Monitor the temperature using the built-in thermometer. The maximum oven temperature is 500°C (1000°F).
9. Once the oven reaches the desired temperature, you can start cooking pizzas or other food items.
Note: It is important to use dry and seasoned wood for optimal performance and to avoid excessive smoke.
