To connect the Polk DBRX1 Cinema Sound Bar to your TV, you have two options: HDMI ARC or optical. Here are the steps for each option:
HDMI ARC:
1. Insert one end of the HDMI cable into the HDMI ARC port on the soundbar.
2. Insert the other end of the HDMI cable into the HDMI port labeled "HDMI ARC" on the TV.
Optical:
1. Insert one end of the optical cable into the OPTICAL port on the soundbar.
2. Insert the other end of the cable into the optical port on the TV.
Note: If your TV does not have an HDMI or optical output, you can use an analog cable to connect the sound bar to the TV.
After connecting the sound bar to the TV, make sure to connect the power cord to the POWER port on the back of the sound bar and plug it into an AC power outlet. Then, turn on the TV and the satellite receiver or other video source. Verify that the sound bar is powered on (green status light on front) and select the satellite receiver input on the TV. Adjust the volume using the sound bar remote to ensure you hear sound from the sound bar.
