To connect the PTM6940 Potential Transformer Module to your genset controller, follow the steps below:
1. Ensure that the PT ratio of the controller is set according to the site situation. The recommended PT ratio is 705:400.
2. Make sure that the module is only applicable to genset controllers of SmartGen and that the PT ratio needs to be set.
3. Connect the PTM6940 module for signal transformation only, not for both signal transformation and power supply.
For detailed information on the wire connections and typical wiring diagram, please refer to the "WIRE CONNECTION" section and "Fig.2 Generating Voltage Sampling Wire Connection" in the user manual.
