To change the batteries in the Rad Elec SPER-1E Electret Voltage Reader, follow these steps:
1. Locate the battery compartment on the backside of the reader.
2. Look for a small slit at the top of the lid directly above a long slit.
3. Insert a small flathead screwdriver into the small slit and gently push it toward the larger slit to lift the lid up.
4. Remove the old batteries from the compartment.
5. Refer to the diagram inside the battery case for proper placement of the new batteries.
6. Insert the new batteries into the compartment according to the diagram.
7. Close the lid of the battery compartment.
Please note that the Rad Elec SPER-1E reader uses two AA alkaline batteries. When the batteries need to be changed, the reader will display "LO BATT" on the screen. It is important to replace the batteries with new ones to ensure proper functioning of the reader.
