To set up the Onvis HS2 Smart Button Switch with the Onvis Home app, please follow these steps:
1. Insert the included CR2450 button cell battery into the switch and close the cover.
2. Make sure the Bluetooth of your iOS device is turned on.
3. Open the Home app on your iOS device or download the free Onvis Home App from the App Store and open it.
4. Tap the "Add accessory" button in the app.
5. Scan the QR code on the HS2 Smart Button Switch using your device's camera to add the accessory to your HomeKit network. If QR code scanning is not applicable, select the target device (last 6 digits matching the MAC address) and manually input the SETUP code printed on the cover page.
6. If the app prompts "Couldn't add Onvis-XXXXXX," please reset the device by long pressing the button in the center for about 15 seconds until the LED blinks red, green, and blue once, and then try adding the accessory again.
7. Name the HS2 Smart Button Switch and assign it to a room in the app.
8. To enable BLE+Thread connection, remote control, and notifications, set up a HomeKit hub such as a HomePod Mini or Apple TV4K2021.
