To connect your laptop to the Comsol CMDL24D Universal Docking Station, follow these steps:
1. If your laptop has a USB-C port:
- Use the included USB-C to USB-C cable.
- Plug one end of the cable into a USB-C port on your laptop.
- Plug the other end of the cable into the USB-C port on the docking station labeled with the computer icon.
2. If your laptop only has a USB-A port:
- Ensure that your USB-A port supports USB3.0 (also known as USB3.2 Gen 1).
- Use the included USB-C to USB-A cable.
- Plug one end of the cable into a USB-A port on your laptop.
- Plug the other end of the cable into the USB-C port on the docking station labeled with the computer icon.
Note: When connecting via a USB-A port, the docking station will not provide power to charge the laptop. You must charge your laptop using its own power supply.
