To connect the Graviron Wide Band PD Series O/E Converter to an instrument, follow these steps:
1. First, ensure that the power switch on the O/E converter is off.
2. Connect the Power Cable Assembly supplied with the converter to the power input connector on the rear panel of the converter. If your instrument has a probe power connector, you can connect the other side of the Power Cable to it. Refer to page 6 of the manual for instructions on connecting an external power supply if your instrument does not have a probe power connector.
3. Turn on the power switch.
4. Connect the fiber connector to the optical signal input connector on the front panel of the converter.
5. Adjust the voltage and sweep time of your instrument to observe the light signal. Make sure to select 50Ω impedance on the instrument for optimal performance.
Please note that if your instrument does not have a BNC jack, you may need to use a conversion connector to connect the O/E converter to the instrument.
