To set the high frequency EQ control on the GoldenEar 317INVSMPX Invisa MultiPolar In-Wall-In-Ceiling Loudspeaker, follow these steps:
1. Start with the HF EQ control in the center position, which is the default setting.
2. If your listening room has many reflective, hard surfaces and sounds overly "bright," you can select the "-" position on the HF EQ control to effectively compensate for this room acoustics issue.
3. If your listening room has heavy furniture and fabrics or if you are sitting fairly far from the speakers, resulting in a "dull" sound, you can select the "+" position on the HF EQ control to compensate for this room acoustics issue.
Remember, the HF EQ control allows you to adjust the high frequency level of the speakers to accommodate different room acoustics and placements. Experiment with the different settings to find the one that provides the best sound quality in your specific listening environment.
