To attach the kick pedal to the Roland KD-9 V Drum Kick Pad, please follow these steps:
1. Position the beater so that it strikes the center of the head on the KD-9 pad.
2. Secure the kick pedal and KD-9 firmly in place, making sure not to pinch your fingers.
3. Step on the kick pedal to ensure that it is properly attached and in a stable position.
4. Check to make sure that the base of the KD-9 and the kick pedal both make contact with the floor.
5. If you are using a twin pedal, position the two beaters equally apart from the center of the pad.
6. If necessary, adjust the anchor bolts on the KD-9 to prevent it from moving around during play.
