To install the REZNOR EGW Economical Unit Heater, follow these instructions:
1. The installation must be executed by a qualified technician.
2. Ensure that the wiring procedures and connections are in accordance with the national and local codes.
3. Disconnect all power supplies before working on any of the circuits.
4. Install the heater with the supplied brackets as shown in Figure 1 of the manual.
5. For best results, do not exceed a mounting height of 8 ft (2.4 m) from the floor. In the American version, do not install it less than 6 ft (1.8 m) from the floor.
6. Direct the discharge streams away from room occupants, columns, posts, machinery, partitions, parallel to outside walls, and along the windward side of buildings exposed to prevailing winds.
7. In small rooms, one unit heater is sufficient. In large rooms, arrange multiple units to provide perimeter circulation.
