To connect the , please follow the steps below:
1. Ensure that the power is disconnected before starting the installation process.
2. For a wired LAN connection, plug the LAN cable into the LAN socket on the GW-UNI.
3. For a wireless LAN (WiFi) connection, connect the included WiFi antenna to the WiFi antenna socket on the GW-UNI. Make sure the antenna is vertical.
4. For GW425 & GW485 models only, connect the included PMR antenna to the PMR antenna socket on the GW-UNI. If required, use a 90-degree adapter to ensure the antenna is vertical.
5. Power on the GW-UNI. The red Power LED will illuminate, and the LCD display will show different screens depending on the Gateway model type.
6. If the Gateway has started and displays the "No Network" screen, it means there is no Ethernet connection. If you are connected via Ethernet, skip to step 2.5.5.
7. To connect to a WiFi network, press and hold the mode button on the GW-UNI for at least 5 seconds. The display will indicate that it is scanning for available networks. Release the button.
8. Connect your smartphone or laptop to the Gateway's WiFi network. The Gateway's SSID and URL will be displayed on the LCD screen. The URL will scroll, so make sure to note it down.
9. If the login page is not automatically shown, browse to the indicated URL (e.g., http://192.168.43.1) on your smartphone or laptop.
10. On the WiFi setup screen, select a network from the SSID pull-down menu. Choose the security type and enter the network password. Tap "Apply" and then "Done" to save the changes.
11. To connect to the Gateway via its connected network, append the IP address shown with ":1234" (e.g., http://192.168.0.66:1234).
12. You will be presented with a login screen. Enter the default password "gateway" (which should be changed later) and press enter or tap "LOGIN".
13. From the network connection main screen, choose an option by tapping on one of the buttons. Note that setting up WiFi must be done via the Gateway's direct (WiFi hotspot) mode.
14. The Gateway will display different modes depending on its connection status, such as Gateway ready mode, Gateway TX mode, Gateway RX mode, or No server connection.
15. If there is no connection to the server, please ensure that the required ports are open on your firewall as specified in the manual.
