To connect devices to the INTELLINET 561587 switch, follow these steps:
1. Use straight or crossover UTP/STP cables to connect the RJ45 ports on the switch to PCs, routers, hubs, other switches, etc. All ports on the switch support Auto-MDI/MDI-X functionality, so you can use either type of cable.
2. Ensure that the power cable is connected to the receptacle on the back of the switch and plugged into a power outlet. Confirm that the Power LED lights up, indicating that the switch is receiving power.
Note: The switch supports Power over Ethernet (PoE+), which means it can provide power to connected PoE-enabled devices such as IP cameras or wireless access points. If you want to use PoE, make sure the connected devices are compatible and that the switch has sufficient power capacity.
