To install Datacolor Match Pigment on your computer, please follow the steps outlined in the installation guide provided with the product. Here is a summary of the installation procedure:
1. Ensure that your computer meets the system requirements mentioned in the installation guide. This includes having the recommended hardware configuration and necessary software installed.
2. If you are upgrading from a previous version of Datacolor MATCHPIGMENT, it is recommended to restart your system before beginning the upgrade. Also, backup your database and store the data on the Datacolor TOOLS desktop.
3. If you have a firewall enabled on your system, you may see Windows Security dialog boxes during the installation. Click "Unblock" to continue the installation.
4. Install Adobe Reader if you haven't already, as it is required to view and print Datacolor user guides and PDF documents.
5. Insert the Datacolor MATCHPIGMENT USB into a port on your computer.
6. Run the Menu.exe file from the USB to launch the main installation menu.
7. Click on "Install Datacolor MATCHPIGMENT" from the menu.
8. Follow the prompts to select the appropriate language, accept the software license agreement, and choose the installation and database locations.
9. The installation will proceed, installing instrument drivers and additional components.
10. After the installation is complete, you will be prompted to reboot your computer. It is important to reboot before starting the Datacolor Match Pigment program.
