To charge the SILVERCREST SAST 18 A1 Cordless Wet and Dry Hand-Held Vacuum Cleaner, follow these steps:

1. Ensure that the On/Off switch (11) is pushed back to the "OFF" position.
2. Hang the appliance into the wall bracket (7) from above, making sure that the catches on the wall bracket slide into the recesses on the motor unit (14) and the barrel plug (9) into the socket on the lower end of the motor unit.
3. The charge indicator lamp (12) will flash red, indicating that the charging process has started.
4. When the batteries are fully charged, the charge indicator lamp will light up green. This process can take around 5 to 5.5 hours with fully discharged batteries.
5. Once the batteries are fully charged, the appliance will automatically switch to trickle charging. However, to avoid possible damage to the batteries, it is recommended not to leave the appliance permanently connected to the mains adapter (10).
