To calibrate the APERA PH850 Portable pH Meter, follow these steps:
1. Rinse the pH electrode in pure water and allow it to dry.
2. Press the power button to turn on the meter.
3. Press the "CAL" button to enter the calibration mode.
4. The meter will prompt you to calibrate the first point using a pH 7.00 buffer solution. Rinse the electrode in pure water, then submerge it in the pH 7.00 buffer solution. Stir the solution briefly and wait for a stable reading to appear on the display. Press the calibration button to calibrate the first point.
5. The meter will then prompt you to calibrate the second point using a pH 4.00 buffer solution. Rinse the electrode in pure water, then submerge it in the pH 4.00 buffer solution. Stir the solution briefly and wait for a stable reading to appear on the display. Press the calibration button to calibrate the second point.
6. If necessary, the meter may prompt you to calibrate a third point using a pH 10.01 buffer solution. Follow the same steps as above to calibrate the third point.
7. After calibration, the meter will return to the measurement mode and is ready for use.
