To install the Paul Neuhaus 8331-12 Melinda Ceiling Lamp, please follow the steps below:
1. Ensure that the power supply is turned off before starting the installation process.
2. Locate a suitable position on the ceiling where you want to install the lamp. Ensure that the ceiling is strong enough to support the weight of the lamp.
3. Remove the mounting plate from the lamp by unscrewing the screws on the side.
4. Hold the mounting plate against the ceiling and mark the positions for the xxxx holes using a pencil or marker.
5. Drill pilot holes at the marked positions using an appropriate drill bit.
6. Insert wall plugs into the pilot holes if necessary, depending on the type of ceiling material.
7. Align the mounting plate with the pilot holes and secure it to the ceiling using screws provided.
8. Connect the wires from the ceiling to the corresponding wires on the lamp. Make sure to match the colors correctly (e.g., black to black, white to white, etc.). Use wire connectors or terminal blocks to secure the connections.
9. Attach the lamp body to the mounting plate by aligning the holes and inserting the screws. Tighten the screws securely.
10. Once the lamp is securely installed, turn on the power supply and test the functionality of the lamp.
