To calibrate the APERA PC950 Benchtop pH/Conductivity Meter, follow these steps:
1. Rinse the pH or conductivity probe in pure water and allow it to dry.
2. Long press the key to enter calibration mode.
3. Submerge the probe in the appropriate calibration solution (pH 7.00, pH 4.00, pH 10.01 for pH calibration; 1413 S/cm for conductivity calibration).
4. Stir the solution briefly and allow it to stay in the solution until the calibration icon appears.
5. Press the key to confirm the calibration.
6. Rinse the probe in pure water and allow it to dry.
7. Repeat steps 3-6 for additional calibration points if necessary.
8. Calibration is completed and the meter will return to measurement mode.
Note: The number of calibration points and the specific calibration solutions may vary depending on your requirements. Please refer to the instruction manual for more detailed instructions and calibration options.
It is important to regularly calibrate the meter to ensure accurate measurements. Calibration intervals may vary depending on the sample and required accuracy. It is recommended to calibrate the meter before taking measurements and recalibrate if the probe is new, unused for a long period of time, or after measuring extreme pH or conductivity solutions.
