To set up the HelloBaby HB6231 2.4GHz Digital Wireless Video Baby Monitor, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that all the items listed in the package are included: Parent unit x 1, User manual x 1, Camera unit x 1, Wall-mounting kit x1, Power Adapter x 2.
2. Place the camera unit within 6 feet (2 meters) of the area you want to monitor for optimal performance.
3. Turn on the baby unit by inserting the DC plug of the power adapter into the DC jack in the rear of the Baby Unit. Then, insert the other end of the power adapter into a suitable electrical outlet. Once connected, the power LED will light up.
4. Turn on the parent unit by inserting the DC plug of the power adapter into the DC jack in the rear of the parent unit. Insert the other end of the power adapter into a suitable electrical outlet. Press and hold the power button to turn on the parent unit. The power LED will light up, and the image will display on the LCD screen.
5. The camera unit has an infrared night vision function for low-light conditions. In this mode, only black and white images will be displayed on the monitor. The camera will automatically switch to night vision mode when needed.
6. The parent unit has various key operations for controlling the camera, such as tilting, panning, digital zoom, and two-way talk. Refer to the user manual for detailed instructions on how to use these functions.
7. The baby unit and parent unit are pre-registered, so you do not need to register them again unless the baby unit loses its link with the parent unit. If you need to re-register or register a new baby unit, follow the pairing procedure outlined in the manual.
