To install the Paul Neuhaus 6551-48 Nevis LED Ceiling Light, you will need the following tools:
1. Screwdriver
2. Drill (if necessary)
3. Wire cutters/strippers (if necessary)
Please follow these installation instructions:
1. Turn off the power: Before starting the installation, ensure that the power to the ceiling light circuit is turned off at the main electrical panel.
2. Remove the existing light fixture (if applicable): If you are replacing an existing light fixture, carefully remove it from the ceiling by unscrewing any screws or nuts holding it in place. Disconnect the electrical wires by removing wire nuts or connectors.
3. Mount the ceiling plate: Attach the provided ceiling plate to the electrical box in the ceiling using the screws provided. Ensure that the plate is securely fastened.
4. Connect the wires: Connect the electrical wires from the ceiling to the corresponding wires on the Nevis LED Ceiling Light. Match the black (hot/live) wire to the black wire, the white (neutral) wire to the white wire, and the green or copper (ground) wire to the green or copper wire. Use wire nuts or connectors to secure the connections.
5. Secure the light fixture: Carefully lift the Nevis LED Ceiling Light and align it with the ceiling plate. Insert and tighten the screws provided to secure the fixture to the ceiling plate.
6. Test the light: Turn on the power at the main electrical panel and switch on the light using the wall switch. The Nevis LED Ceiling Light should illuminate.
7. Dimmer function: The Nevis LED Ceiling Light features a dimmer function. To dim the light, press and hold the wall switch until the desired brightness is attained. Release the switch, and the brightness level will be saved.
Important Notes:
- The surface texture of these lamps may have small differences due to being handmade.
- Each rust piece is original and unique, resulting in variations in color.
