To control the ACME Eyeflash 2 BLINDER 2 WW LED Lights using DMX, you will need to connect the lights to a DMX controller or console. The lights have different DMX channel options depending on the mode you want to use. For the WW (tungsten) effect, you can choose between 1, 2, 4, or 6 DMX channels. For the RGB (color mixing) effect, you can choose between 5, 7, 9, or HSIC (Hue, Saturation, Intensity, Color Temperature) DMX channels.
To connect the lights to the DMX controller, use either a 3-pin or 5-pin XLR cable. The Data In/Out ports on the lights are compatible with both types of cables. Make sure to connect the Data Out port of the DMX controller to the Data In port of the first light, and then daisy-chain the lights by connecting the Data Out port of each light to the Data In port of the next light.
Once the lights are connected, you can use the DMX controller to send control signals to the lights. The lights support the DMX512 and RDM protocols. You can adjust various parameters such as dimming, color mixing, and effects using the DMX controller.
