To install the Stiebel Eltron SHC 10 AU or SHC 15 AU Pressure Water Heater, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the installation site is free from the risk of frost and has a sufficient load-bearing capacity.
2. Mount the appliance on the wall using the provided wall mounting bracket.
3. Install the safety valve supplied and a non-return valve in the cold water supply line of the appliance.
4. Connect the water supply to the appliance, ensuring that the cold water inlet and DHW outlet are correctly matched.
5. Secure the water connections from the tap to the appliance and check the entire hydraulic installation for tightness.
6. Connect the appliance to the power supply using a dedicated junction box and ensure it can be isolated from the mains power supply by an isolator that disconnects all poles with at least 3 mm contact separation.
7. Insert the plug into a standard socket or set the fuse/MCB in the fuse box.
8. Check the function of the appliance, ensuring that the temperature controller switches off and that the safety valve is working correctly.
9. Explain the functions of the appliance to the user and make them aware of potential dangers, especially the risk of scalding.
