To install the TOSHIBA ASD-TB1-ACI PLC Processors, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the power to the ASD (Adjustable Speed Drive) is turned off and that the Power and Charge LEDs are off.
2. Remove the existing terminal block board (48570) and the jumper board (50611).
3. Remove the jumper PCB (50611) from the ASD-TB1-ACI assembly.
4. Install the ASD-TB1-ACI assembly using the same mounting holes as the previous terminal block board.
5. Replace the jumper PCB (50611).
6. The discrete inputs that accept 120V AC voltage are F, R, RES, ST, S1, S2, S3, and S4. Connect the common neutral for these inputs at terminals 9 and/or 17 on TB1. Do not use the CC terminals 1 & 2 on TB1 for connecting the 120VAC signals, as they are used only for analog control inputs.
7. Do not remove the Nomex tape between the isolator PCBs (52105) as it provides voltage clearance.
8. Adhere to all applicable codes and standards for wiring and layout of the electrical connections external to the ASD.
9. It is recommended to run the control cabling separately from the power cables in a conduit and use shielded cables for control cabling.
10. Ensure proper grounding methods are employed.
11. No programming changes are required specifically because of using this board. For further information on the G7 ASD functions and parameters, refer to the G7 Adjustable Speed Drive Operation Manual (P/N 51546).
Please note that this installation procedure should be performed by properly trained personnel only, and all applicable safety precautions should be followed.
