To install the VPG CR338 Wireless Charging Sensor, you have two mounting options: adhesive mounting and non-adhesive mounting. Here are the installation steps for each option:
Adhesive Mounting:
1. Clean the fixture surface and wipe it dry.
2. Thread the power cable through the fixture slot.
3. Remove the adhesive liner from the base of the pedestal and adhere it to the fixture.
4. Hold firmly for 30 seconds to ensure a strong bond.
Non-Adhesive Mounting:
Option 1 - Slot Hole Fixtures:
1. Use the K-1106 Mounting Ring Kit, which includes a mounting ring, threaded rods, and thumb nuts.
2. xxxx the threaded rods through the mounting ring and into the pedestal.
3. Mount the pedestal to the fixture using the two thumb nuts.
Option 2 - Single Hole Fixtures:
1. Use the K-1140 Single Hole Adapter Kit, which includes an adapter plate, ring nut, and screws.
2. Thread the pedestal power cord through the single hole adapter plate and xxxx it to the bottom of the pedestal.
3. Place the connected pedestal and adapter through the hole in the fixture and tighten the nut.
After mounting the pedestal, follow these steps to attach the sensor:
1. Attach the sensor to the pedestal by twisting the boot into the sensor.
2. Make sure the text "TOP" and "BOTTOM" on the sensor is oriented with the top and bottom of the phone.
3. Before adhering, find the best placement for the sensor to charge the device.
4. Clean the back of the device with an alcohol pad and wipe it dry.
5. Adhere the sensor to the center of the device.
