To mount the HUDSON 15010 Retractable Hose Reel, please follow these steps:
1. Determine the location: The hose reel needs to be mounted less than 4 feet away from a water outlet.
2. Mark the drill holes: Use the mounting bracket as a guide and mark the drill holes on your surface. Make sure the arrow on the bracket is facing UP. It is recommended to install in wood.
3. Drill the holes: Drill four holes using a 5/32 inch drill bit if using just the hex screws. If installing with the plastic anchors, use a 3/8 inch drill bit.
4. Install the bracket: Line up the bracket with the drilled holes and xxxx in the hex screws. Ensure that the bracket is securely attached to the surface.
5. Insert the pin: Insert the pin into the hole on the mounting bracket. This will provide support for the hose reel.
6. Seat the hose reel: Line up the hose reel with the pin on the mounting bracket and seat the hose reel onto the bracket.
7. Connect the supply hose: Connect the supply hose to the water outlet. Ensure a secure connection to prevent leaks.
