To connect the keyboard and mouse to your computer, follow these steps:
1. Install the batteries:
- Open the battery compartment on the mouse and insert one AA alkaline battery.
- Open the battery compartment on the keyboard and insert two AAA alkaline batteries.
2. Connecting the receiver:
- The receiver can be inserted directly into a USB port on your computer or connected using an extra USB cable.
- Connect the USB plug to a USB port on your computer.
3. Restoring factory default settings (for the mouse):
- If the wireless mouse is not working, first check if the battery is used out and replace it if necessary.
- If the LED on the mouse bottom is off, follow these steps to restore the default settings (automatic pairing):
a. Unplug and plug the nano receiver again into an available USB port on your computer.
b. Place the wireless mouse close to the nano receiver (within 10 cm).
c. Take out the battery from the mouse and reinsert it into the battery compartment.
d. If the LED on the mouse bottom turns on, you can start using the wireless mouse again.
4. Multimedia Hotkeys functions:
- The keyboard has multimedia hotkeys for various functions. Here are some examples:
- FN+ECS = Media Player
- FN+F9 = Email
- FN+F1 = Previous Track
- FN+F10 = My Calculator
- FN+F2 = Play/Pause
- FN+F11 = My favorite
- FN+F3 = Next Track
- FN+F12 = My computer
- FN+F4 = Mute
- FN+Insert = Scroll Lock
- FN+F5 = Volume Down
- FN+Delete = Pause/B
- FN+F6 = Volume Up
- FN+Shift-R = PrtScr
- FN+F7 = Web Home
- FN+Ctrl-R = APP
- FN+F8 = Search
5. Power save function:
- The mouse has a power save function to conserve battery life.
- If the mouse is not used for 1 minute, it will go into sleep mode level 1. Moving the mouse will wake it up, and the red LED will still be on.
- If the mouse is not used for 1-8 minutes, it will go into sleep mode level 2. Moving the mouse will wake it up, and the red LED will flash.
- If the mouse is not used for more than 8 minutes, it will go into deep sleep mode, and the LED will turn off automatically.
