To connect the CMM366B-4G Cloud Monitoring Communication Module to your genset controller, you can use one of the following communication ports: RS485, RS232, LINK, CAN, or USB. Here are the steps to connect the module:
1. RS485 Connection:
- Connect the RS485 port of the module to the RS485 port of your genset controller.
- Use a 120Ω terminal resistor and short connect the RS485 A(+) and TR terminals.
2. RS232 Connection:
- Connect the RS232 port of the module to the RS232 port of your genset controller.
3. LINK Connection:
- Connect the LINK port of the module to the LINK port of your genset controller.
4. USB Host Connection:
- Connect the A-type USB port (female) of the module to the USB port of your genset controller using a USB cable.
5. CAN Connection (only for CMM366CAN-4G model):
- Connect the CAN port of the module to the CAN port of your genset controller.
- Use a 120Ω terminal resistor and short connect the CANH and TR terminals.
Please refer to the "PANEL AND TERMINAL DESCRIPTION" section in the user manual for diagrams and more detailed information on the connections.
Note: Make sure to configure the communication parameters and settings on the platform or software according to your genset controller model, communication port, baud rate, and ID.
