To install the Olink custom recipe on the NextSeq 550 instrument, follow these steps:
1. Unzip the Olink custom recipe file "Olink_NSQ550_HighOutput_V1" provided by Olink Proteomics AB.
2. Locate the following folder on the NextSeq 550 instrument: C:\Program Files\Illumina\NextSeq Control Software\Recipe\Custom\High\
3. Place the unzipped Olink custom recipe file in the folder mentioned above.
4. Open the NextSeq Control Software on the instrument.
5. Under "System Customization," select "Manage Instrument."
6. Enable the option for "Custom Recipes." This step is important as the custom recipe option will not appear during the run setup if it is not enabled.
7. The Olink custom recipe is now installed on the NextSeq 550 instrument and can be selected during the run setup.
Note: The Olink custom recipe is compatible with the NextSeq 500/550 High Output Kits and the NextSeq Control Software 4.0. Please ensure that you have the correct software version and reagent kits for the custom recipe to work properly.
