To adjust the setpoint on the Siemens TH 193 HC thermostat, follow these steps:
1. Locate the setpoint adjustment dials on the thermostat. These dials are used to set the desired temperature for heating and cooling modes.
2. Determine if you want to adjust the heating or cooling setpoint. The heating setpoint is typically set lower than the cooling setpoint.
3. Use your fingers or a small tool, such as a screwdriver or hex key, to turn the setpoint adjustment dial for the desired mode. Turning the dial clockwise will increase the setpoint temperature, while turning it counterclockwise will decrease the setpoint temperature.
4. Allow the thermostat to adjust to the new setpoint temperature for a few minutes before expecting any changes in the heating or cooling operation.
Note: The thermostat may have a minimum dead band of 4°F (2°C) between the heating and cooling setpoints. This means that the cooling mode will not activate until the room temperature exceeds the cooling setpoint by the dead band value.
