To switch between PWM mode and UART mode on the Winsen ZPH02 Air-Quality and Particles Sensor, you need to connect or disconnect the control pin (PIN1) accordingly.
- PWM Mode: If the control pin (PIN1) is left hanging in the air, the sensor will be in PWM mode. In this mode, the sensor will output a PWM signal with a period of 1Hz on PIN2. The output on PIN2 represents the PM2.5 concentration. The VOC level can be obtained from the PWM signal on PIN4.
- UART Mode: If the control pin (PIN1) is connected to GND, the sensor will be in UART mode. In this mode, the sensor will output the concentration values through the UART interface at a baud rate of 9600. The PM2.5 concentration can be obtained from the received data, and the VOC grade can be obtained from the VOC output.
Please note that the specific commands and data formats for communication with the sensor are provided in the "Communication protocol" section of the user manual. Make sure to follow the instructions and settings mentioned in the manual for proper operation of the sensor.
