Cleaning the SilverCrest SGR 150 D1 Electric Grater is easy. Here are the steps to follow:
1. Always remove the mains plug from the socket before cleaning. Never immerse the electric food grater in water or clean it under running water to avoid the risk of electric shock.
2. Be careful when using and cleaning the cylinders as the blades are very sharp. There is a risk of injury.
3. Remove the 5 cylinders, the storage compartment, the storage compartment cover, the feed chute, and the pusher from the electric food grater.
4. Clean the electric food grater with a damp cloth. You can apply a mild detergent to the cloth to remove stubborn dirt. Ensure that you remove all remaining detergent with a wet cloth.
5. The 5 cylinders, the storage compartment, the storage compartment cover, the feed chute, and the pusher are suitable for cleaning in a dishwasher. Alternatively, you can clean these parts with warm water and a mild detergent. After washing, rinse the parts with clear water. Make sure that all parts are completely dry before using them again.
6. Reattach the cleaned parts to the electric food grater and store the cleaned cylinders in the storage compartment.
Please note that aggressive, abrasive, or chemical cleaning agents should not be used as they can damage the surface of the electric food grater and its accessories.
