To connect the gas supply to the fri-jado LDR 8 s AC Gas Programmable Auto Clean Rotisserie Oven, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the gas supply line is clean and free of obstructions, dirt, and piping compound.
2. Locate the gas inlet on the bottom side of the rotisserie, marked as "4" in the installation drawing.
3. Connect the gas supply line to the gas inlet using a gas conduit (not included). The gas connection has an outside diameter of ½ inch.
4. Ensure that the gas supply line is capable of maintaining the required gas pressure during full power.
5. Check all joints in the gas supply line for leaks prior to starting up the rotisserie. You can use a soap and water solution to check for leaks. Do not use an open flame.
6. After the piping has been checked for leaks, fully purge the gas pipes to remove air. Disconnect the rotisserie from the gas supply piping system during any pressure testing on the gas supply piping system.
7. The gas inlet pressure must be according to the table on the technical data page in the manual. The pressure can be checked on the gas block with a pressure meter.
It is important to note that the gas supply connections and any pipe joint compound used must be resistant to the action of propane gases. Additionally, the rotisserie must be installed in accordance with local codes and regulations. If you are unsure about any aspect of the installation, it is recommended to consult a registered installer or contact the manufacturer for further assistance.
