To set up the SPYKER SPYDSB-9G Drop-In Sprayer with Boom, follow these steps:

1. Remove the spray wand from inside the tank.
2. Remove all contents from the box.
3. Cut the plastic ties holding the boom sections together.
4. Report any missing or damaged items to your dealer immediately.
5. Flush out the tank before use to remove the pink liquid residue (RV antifreeze).
6. Refer to the provided manual for a detailed diagram and list of parts for the battery and spray wand mounting hardware, electrical components, boom components, and tank & plumbing.
7. Assemble the battery and spray wand mounting hardware according to the manual's instructions.
8. Assemble the boom components by aligning the boom arms to the center section and attaching them using the provided hinge bolts and locknuts. Do not tighten fully to allow movement.
9. Install the springs on the spring mounting tabs with the boom arms folded closed.
10. Attach the boom to the front of the spreader by resting the opened boom assembly on the extended front tubular frame and bolting it using the provided U-bolt bag.
11. Drill holes in the hopper using the boom support brackets as a template and secure the boom to the hopper using washers and bolts.
12. Clean the spreader hopper and place the empty tank assembly in the hopper with the battery mounted toward the rear.
13. Connect the boom hose wingnut to the boom line valve.
14. Install the sprayer nozzles, screens, washers, and caps.
15. Install the handle thumb switch with a xxxx clamp and plug in the switch wiring.
16. Connect the pump wiring assembly clips to the switch spades and connect the battery wiring assembly.
17. Connect the swivel elbow fitting to the pump inlet port.
