To set up and control the Twinkly TWD060STP-B Dots 60 RGB Flexible LED Light String, follow these steps:
1. Download the Twinkly App: Install the free Twinkly App on your iOS or Android device from the respective app store.
2. Connect the Controller: Plug the included smart controller with the male USB connector into a power source using the included USB cable.
3. Connect to Wi-Fi: Ensure that your smartphone or tablet is connected to a Wi-Fi network. Open the Twinkly App and follow the on-screen instructions to connect the Twinkly Dots to your Wi-Fi network.
4. Position the Dots: Place the Twinkly Dots in your desired location. They can be installed on curved surfaces, below wall units, or along walls. Use the included adhesive pads to stick the Dots to surfaces if needed.
5. Control the Lights: Open the Twinkly App and select the Twinkly Dots from the list of available devices. From the app, you can choose from dozens of pre-made effects and animations or create your own custom effects using the FX Wizard creation tool. You can also adjust the brightness, speed, intensity, and color of the lights.
6. Grouping and Synchronization: If you have other Twinkly RGB devices, you can group them together with the Twinkly Dots to create larger, synchronized light installations. The Twinkly App allows you to control multiple devices simultaneously.
7. Music Sync: For a dynamic audiovisual experience, you can use the optional Twinkly Music USB microphone (sold separately) to synchronize the lights with the music played in your environment.
8. Voice Control and Integrations: The Twinkly Dots can be seamlessly controlled with vocal assistants such as Hey Google and Amazon Alexa. They are also compatible with Apple HomeKit, Homey, Razer Chroma™ RGB via Twinkly Chroma Connector, and OMEN Light Studio on OMEN Gaming Hub.
