1. Ensure that the stapler is disconnected from any power source and that it is not loaded with staples.
2. Locate the magazine release latch on the back of the stapler, just above the handle.
3. Push the magazine release latch downward to release the magazine.
4. Pull the magazine out from the bottom of the stapler until it is fully extended.
5. Turn the magazine upside down to expose the staple channel.
