To change the thermal roll paper on the Shuttle K21WL01 Counter Top Kiosk, follow these steps:
1. Use the key provided to push the release button and open the printer cover.
2. Remove the used paper roll from the paper tray.
3. Load the new paper roll into the paper tray, making sure that a few inches of the paper extend over the cover edge.
4. If you are using a 58mm thermal paper roll, install the paper roll partition.
5. If your paper roll width is selectable, choose between 80mm or 58mm.
6. Close the printer cover and tear off any excess paper using the tear bar.
Important: Avoid touching the print head thermal elements as it becomes very hot after printing. Allow the print head to cool down before cleaning it. Also, make sure to turn off the printer power before cleaning the print head.
