To adjust the sensitivity of the Resideo 11WH Vibration Sensor, follow these steps:
1. Mount the sensor without the cover and connect an ohmmeter across the sensor's terminals.
2. Use a screwdriver to slowly turn the adjustment xxxx counterclockwise to increase sensitivity.
3. With the sensor contacts open, turn the xxxx slowly clockwise to decrease sensitivity until the desired sensitivity is obtained.
4. The maximum advisable setting is 1/8 turn (45º) past contact closure. Higher sensitivity is not recommended as it may result in erratic operation and false alarms.
Note: Do not turn the xxxx more than 1/2 turn clockwise from the maximum advisable sensitivity position, as it may permanently damage the sensor's contact assembly vibration blade.
After adjusting the sensitivity, replace the sensor's cover (do not overtighten!) and recheck the final adjustment with the cover in place.
