To set up and use the Salter BPA-9301 Health Bluetooth Automatic Arm Blood Pressure Monitor, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the batteries are correctly fitted and Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
- Make sure the batteries are inserted properly into the monitor.
- Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device by going to the settings.
2. Choose a user number for your measurements.
- Ensure the device is turned off.
- Press and hold the button until the animation appears.
- Select User Number.
- With the device turned off, press and hold the button until the user number icons flash.
- Press the button to cycle between users 1, 2, and guest. Press the button to confirm your user number. Guest readings are not saved.
3. Place the cuff around your arm following the printed directions and then press the start button.
- Make sure the cuff is wrapped securely around your upper arm as instructed in the user manual.
- Press the start button on the monitor to begin the measurement.
4. Sit still with your arm below your heart for the entire procedure.
- It is important to remain still and keep your arm in a relaxed position during the measurement.
5. At the end of the measurement, if your app is open, your data will be synced automatically.
- If you have a compatible mobile app connected to the monitor, your data will be automatically synced when the measurement is completed.
6. If your monitor is unable to connect, your data will be saved to your monitor until a connection is available.
- In case the monitor is unable to establish a Bluetooth connection with your mobile device, it will save the data internally until a connection is available.
7. You can sync your saved data at any time by opening your app and then pressing the button on your blood pressure monitor.
- To sync the saved data, open the compatible mobile app and press the button on the blood pressure monitor. This will initiate the synchronization process.
