The installation process for the DigiNet MMDM-PB LEDsmart Push Button LED Dimmer is as follows:
1. Ensure that the installation is carried out by a qualified electrician to ensure safety.
2. Use the provided terminal block to make the electrical connections as shown in the installation guide.
3. Close the terminal cover to protect the xxxx terminals and secure the terminal block to the rear of the dimmer housing using the two loop holes.
4. For one-way dimming and switching, no separate switch is required as the dimmer has a built-in tap on/tap off switch.
5. For two-way dimming and switching, connect two dimmers in parallel. No separate switches or additional strappers are needed.
6. For multi-way dimming and switching, connect the required number of dimmers in parallel. Each dimmer has an integrated switch, so no separate switches or additional scrappers are required.
7. The dimmer comes with interchangeable coloured bezels (blue, green, orange, clear) for the illuminated halo. These can be used to change the colour of the LED indicators.
8. If installing the dimmer into Clipsal Saturn or Clipsal Saturn Zen wall plates, separate adaptor kits are available.
9. Once the dimmer is installed, you can set up various functions such as minimum brightness, maximum brightness, kick start, off state LED feature, separate switch mode, toggle/memory dimmer, and MultiMate mode. Refer to the installation guide for instructions on how to set up these functions.
10. The dimmer is designed to be compatible with a wide range of LED lamps and drivers, as well as other common lamp types such as incandescent lamps, 12V halogen lamps, and dimmable CFLs.
11. If you experience any issues with flickering or flashing of the LED lights, it is recommended to install a Diginet 'Load bypass' device (MMBP) across the load and neutral terminals to improve performance.
12. The dimmer has a two-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
