To connect your fri-jado S-control oven to the Smart Connect Cloud, please follow these step-by-step instructions:
1. Ensure that you have access to the Smart Connect Cloud. You can access it through the following link: https://smartconnect.frijado.com/. Use the username and password provided to you via email to log in. If you haven't received the login credentials, please contact your local distributor or Fri-Jado.
2. Make sure you have a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network with password protection available. A 5GHz network will not work. Keep the name and password of this Wi-Fi network at hand while connecting. The signal to the oven should be stable and strong, with a recommended RSSI reading between -60dBm and -25dBm.
3. Check if your oven has the latest software version installed (V 1.00.34 or higher). If not, please update the oven first following the instructions in the service manual.
4. Activate Wi-Fi on the oven. Switch on the oven and select the settings symbol. Go to the service parameters page and enter the service code: 4878. Scroll down to the Wi-Fi settings and make sure "Wifi Smartphone" is set to "Allowed" and "Wifi Cloud" is enabled.
5. Download and install the Fri-Jado Connector app on your smartphone. You can download the latest version of the app from the following link: https://apps.gillz.net/b5640515ba. Choose the app version that corresponds to your smartphone's platform (Android or iOS).
6. Open the Fri-Jado Connector app on your smartphone and enter your username and password to log in. Your current location will be automatically detected, but make sure location tracking is set to "yes" or "allow" on your phone for this step to work.
7. If you are inside a store and have trouble tracking your location due to a lack of satellite connection, you can walk outside to get the correct location or skip the location step and enter it manually in the dashboard.
8. Check your location in the app and press "continue" if it is correct. Scan the QR code displayed on the oven's screen using the app. If the scan is not successful, you can scan the QR code again or enter the serial number manually in the app.
9. After successfully scanning the QR code or entering the serial number, press "Continue" in the app. Verify that the serial number shown in the app matches the one on the oven's screen, and then press "confirm" to proceed.
10. An "Incoming Wi-Fi" message will appear on the oven's screen. Press "Accept" to continue.
11. You will receive a "You are connected..." message on the oven's screen. Press "continue" to proceed.
12. Select the Wi-Fi network you want to connect the oven to and enter the Wi-Fi password. Press "continue" to proceed.
13. The app will display oven details like Oven ID, Key, and connection string. Press "configure oven" to automatically configure the oven. This process may take a few minutes. If successful, a message will appear indicating that the oven is connected.
14. Close the Fri-Jado Connector app or proceed to connect additional ovens if needed.
Note: If the connection was not successful, repeat the entire procedure but first switch off and on the oven and close/logout from the Fri-Jado Connector app on your smartphone.
If you prefer to use a static IP address for the oven, follow the guidelines provided in the manual under the section "Instructions for using static IP address" after reaching the "Getting Connected" instructions.
Please refer to the manual for more detailed information and troubleshooting steps.
