To activate and create your owner digital key using the Kia Connect App on your iPhone, follow these steps:
1. Take your iPhone and at least one key fob to your Kia and turn the vehicle on.
2. Open the Kia Connect App on your iPhone.
3. On the dashboard of the app, select the "Digital Key" button (located in the middle right).
4. On the "Digital Key Activation" screen, tap "Continue" until you reach the Wallet App.
5. Tap "Continue to Wallet App" to navigate to the Apple Wallet.
6. On your vehicle's infotainment system, go to the Digital Key section from the Main Home Screen by selecting "Setup" > "Vehicle" > "Digital Key" > "Smartphone Key" > "My Smartphone Key". Tap "Save".
7. On the "Car Keys in Wallet" screen, tap "Continue".
8. Place your iPhone onto the Charging Pad in the vehicle.
9. Your iPhone and your vehicle's infotainment system will pair to complete the activation process.
Note: At this point, you may link your Digital Key to a Driver Profile on the vehicle's infotainment system if you wish.
