Cleaning the MOFFAT 2FBM Medium Duty Focus Hot Cupboard is important to maintain its performance and hygiene. Here are the steps to clean the unit:
1. Disconnect the trolley from the mains and wait until the appliance has cooled down.
2. Wipe the unit clean using hot, soapy water and a soft, non-abrasive cloth. Make sure to wipe the stainless steel in straight strokes following the grain of the material.
3. Wipe dry using a clean cloth. Do not use scouring pads or abrasive cleaners.
4. If necessary, remove the shelving and select inner panels to allow for a deeper internal clean. Make sure to replace all panels and fixings after the cleaning operation.
5. Wipe down the sneeze screen and glass top with a damp, clean cloth.
6. Finish by carefully drying with a soft dry cloth or kitchen towels.
It is important not to use a water jet or pressure spray to clean this appliance. Also, avoid using solvents, bleach, caustic cleaners, or biological powders on any surface. Take special care when cleaning the glass, using a soft duster and glass cleaner spray.
